Long-Eared Owl Tagging/Tracking Program

GT Audubon is Fundraising for the Friends of Whitefish Point Long-Eared Owl Tagging and Movement Program.
Thus far, we have raised about half of what we need to support the program using a Bird-a-thon. (Goal of $3500) In addition, we will be holding a Silent Auction as well this coming November. If you would like to support this cause today, please use the following link:

December 10 (Thursday): This year at our December 10th Annual Member Photos Membership Meeting (Public Welcome!), we’ve decided to hold a raffle for some fun and interesting birdy articles. We will have raffle tickets available at $1.00 each and a jar at each article station for you to try to win-Win-WIN! * Proceeds to go toward our Long Eared Owl Tagging and Monitoring Fundraiser*

Cackling Googs : SEVENTY-SEVEN SPECIES!
Bird-Hers: NINETY-FIVE SPECIES!
Bubbie’s Bay-Gulls: ONE HUNDRED SPECIES!
All together, between the three teams, we raised over $1700 DOLLARS!
We are now a little more than half-way to our goal of sponsoring a tag for the Long Eared Owl program.
We will hold a silent auction this fall to hopefully reach our goal!!

So far, we have THREE teams formed. Suggested pledges are $.25 per species for individuals and $.50 per species for businesses. In addition, a flat rate donation is always welcome.
